There are many different reasons for people to learn martial arts: to learn self defense, to keep physically fit, to learn philosophy, to reduce stress and to develop discipline. For whatever reason you are looking, we want to make a difference in your life. We will custom fit the martial arts to your needs and goals, and to recognize your personal characteristics.
Young people must have personal goals and a caring supporting system to make their dreams a reality. At United Studios of Self Defense, we will make your child a strong, able and productive member of society, armed with character, strong self-discipline and a healthy self-image.
For a professional who is looking for that added mental edge in business, recent studies show that adults who exercise have lower blood pressure, increased muscular strength and better flexibility than those adults who do not exercise. They can cope with high levels of stress and have a confident self-image.
We have classes for all age groups starting from 3 years old including teen and adult classes.
Our Tiny Tigers Program is built primarily around kids ages 4-7. This is a very special time for kids when they are developing different skills that they will need as they move out of the toddler stage and into childhood. Many kids are entering preschool and kindergarten and developing both socially, cognitively and physically. Our Tiny Tigers program helps kids in the development of many different skills.
Our Juniors/Teens program offers the same benefits as the Little Dragons program, but is more suitable for older children. Students learn valuable self-defense and how to avoid and escape from bullies and predators. Classes also contain good cardio workouts and teach about nutrition to help keep kids fit and healthy. Awesome workouts, practical self-defense, and fun sparring and grappling come together to make our Juniors/Teens program fun and rewarding for students and parents. Junior/Teens take part in fun and friendly competitions that keep them doing their best year-round, and our program is designed to make training safe, comfortable, and rewarding for students of all levels. Older Teens are also welcome in the later Adult group classes if they seek a bigger challenge.
No matter what your age, you will find what you are looking for in this class. Men and women alike enjoy fun and fierce workouts and self-defense techniques that are practical for each student's individual size and strength in a safe and healthy environment. Whether you are looking to get into shape, relieve stress, learn how to protect yourself and your family, or just looking to have fun, you’re guaranteed to find it here.
